Go to topic listing. But the downloading process was broken up many times but still the video got downloaded completely. But as you went to play the file you got several error messages that were suggesting your mp4 file is corrupted. It was rejected to play because some of its part was missing. So what you will do at this case? In above scenario, the file rejects to play due to the incomplete download.

If the server is down or the file size is too large then you should end up the download rather than having the incomplete file. The file appears to be the normal file until you try to play it. Open your VLC and load the video file. It will automatically detect that this is broken file and will prompt you to repair it. For instance, it can open broken avi files. Click the Repair button to start the repair process. It could take quite some time depending on the file size of your video.

To avoid damaging the integrity of the partially downloaded torrent file, it is best to first duplicate a copy of the video file, then use VLC to repair and playback the duplicated copy. When you are done previewing, simply delete the duplicated copy.

The best thing is, it doesn't require any installation. One thing that I like about is the ability to fix a file to a temporary location so you won't hurt the original file. Similarly, you can preview the fixed video with a media player and then delete it once you are done.

On the frontend, GOM player looks just like any of the media player in the market. It allows you to play videos of various format and have great subtitles support.
